It’s so odd to me that people have trouble with trans kids. You do whatever makes your child feel good about themselves and that will change as they get older. Especially wardrobe. All pre-teens and teens do this. Your kids are lucky to have you.

After Roe v Wade was overturned, anti-choice activists needed a new cash cow, a new monster under the bed to motivate donations. They picked the trans community. It's easy to scare people who know nothing about the subject, and they were a very small community. Unfortunately, they succeeded too well at demonizing them. Some of the people in the bigger gay/queer community who think, "if we act like them, they'll accept us", wants to jettison the trans population for acceptance. Hence the "LGBQ, no T" movement. 🤯

you sound like an amazing dad! when I meet new people I tell them my pronouns and ask theirs. I grew up in GA where they teach you to sir/ma'am everyone but I don't, because it could make someone uncomfortable. like at the store when they ask, "is that all?" I don't say "yes sir/ma'am," I just say "that's everything, thanks so much."
