@dershpiel: Israeli actress Gal Gadot has donated her entire $1 million Genesis Prize to support mental health and trauma recovery across Israel. Her donation was then matched by other donors, turning the original $1 million into a $3 million fund for Israeli organizations helping people recover from war, trauma and loss. The money is being distributed across 24 nonprofits, including United Hatzalah, Make-A-Wish Israel and groups focused on mental health, families and emergency support. Gadot chose not to keep any of the prize money for herself. Instead, she used the award to help Israelis dealing with the emotional impact of October 7 and the years of war that followed. A $1 million personal donation that became $3 million for Israel.
