Hi doctor! I’m glad I found this video. I started HRT (testosterone cream and 200mg progesterone) in August. I had my first period on 8/29 that was totally normal. On 9/21 I began spotting and I started my second period on 9/26. I’m still bleeding - bright red and not enough for a pad or a tampon. I reached out to my doctor and she said this is normal and I could either bump up to 300mg OR cycle the 200mg every 14 days. I genuinely don’t know what to do as this seems very counterintuitive. I have no other side effects and feel great aside from the bleeding. Is this something I should ride out? 300mg seems like a lot and 200mg bi-weekly doesn’t seem like enough 😭

I start my progesterone on the new moon and take for 12 days no matter what each month - made it super simple for a 28 day cycle for me (who doesn't/didn't naturally have a 28 day cycle even before peri menopause.) My last 6 months of cycles have been random and I got excited when I went 3 months without a period, alas it returned 😂

I’ve been prescribed 100mg progesterone continuously an 1-2 pumps of oestrogel,I’ve been on 2 pumps for the past 6 months but feel like it’s not helping enough if I was to go up to 3 pump would I have to increase my progesterone?

Should you have any bloods before being given hrt? I’m on evorel sequi , for the first few months my periods were as they were before always pretty much to the day. Then I struggled for a week or so getting the patches to stick and since then I’ve been getting periods every week and a half. Last period lasted 2 weeks but it was a month from day of first period to the start of the next (so first time in months, 28 days, though on for 2weeks) periods are still so heavy and now 6 days on I’ve had bad cramping and started spotting… also feeling bloated (pressure) and very windy 🙈 any advice please ? X

My cycle is now 5 weeks, so I start taking progesterone on day 15 and take it for 2 weeks. When I stop it takes about 8 days until my period starts. I take the next dose at day 15 again. So I'm ending up taking progesterone for 2 weeks on, 3 weeks off. Should I keep going with this or instead do 2 weeks on 2 weeks off regardless of my cycle? I use oestrogen gel every day

My HRT has been increased 4 weeks ago as I was having symptoms, my question is how long should I allow for new dose to settle as I experienced symptoms yesterday, palpitations, hot flush and funny head after. Thank you for your support 😁

I'm on cyclical progesterone but this month my period was 5 days late. Do I take it on day 15 from start of late period or do I take it 15 days from when period should have been so it stays on original timing?

But what do you actually do then, if they get erratic?

I take my hrt as prescribed 3 pumps oestrogel daily and 200mg progesterone every day for 2 weeks but my cycle is a period every 3 weeks no matter what. Is this ok?

I'm 3 years into a 21 day cycle at age 44. I ovulate around day 7 from my own symptoms and LH surge tracking. GPs still tell me to take progesterone from day 14 which throws everything off. Wouldn't a 21 day cycle of progesterone, starting day 7, be better suited?

So my question is . If my periods have started becoming irregular do I take the progesterone 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off regardless?

Im on sequential regime 9 weeks in 2 pumps of gel each morning then the progesterone 12 days of each month. I feel like I need to take the progesterone continuously as my low mood is still happening, is this possible if I still have a period?
