my friends are all starting to have kids and it’s making me realize…I need new friends, unfortunately. I love my friends, but they’re becoming different people who only talk about their kids, and I honestly can’t stand it. it sucks.

I have ALWAYS wanted kids. I just turned 29 and I’m not so sure anymore. I love my friends kids and my nieces and nephews, but I’m selfish. I have depression and anxiety, i don’t want to pass that along and I deserve to live my life in a way that makes me feel good, safe and at peace.

She didn’t think about having kids..she just did it…so ironic. I get asked all the time as a child free woman, “ever think about having kids?” - yes, all the time. It’s the thinking that is making me not do it. It seems like so, SO many of these people with kids didn’t put half as much thought into this as I did.

I asked my aunt when people think about kids, don't they think about illnesses or bad behavior or when they are teenagers or potty training..She said no they think of the baby if everyone thought like you no one would have a baby
