briefly, it is called mashro3 (project) because more than 30 yrs ago the presidency distributed many microbuses for youth who didn't have a job as a part of a developmental project. so people called them sawa2 mashroo3 (driver for the project) and gradually the origin was forgetten and people started to refer to the vehicle itself as a mashroo3
