As someone who has loved Showgirl from the moment I heard it, I'm also really proud of her standing by the album. I actually think Patient Zero will be an introspective on the negative reaction while the rest of the songs sound more positive again and just reclaiming her love and happiness for her work and her life. I do think she felt down at first at the reaction (I mean who wouldn't? You'd have to have the skin of steel to not feel something about the bot campaign and the negativity it spread) but she's still proud of the album and she SHOULD BE. It's a great album full of laughter and love and happiness.

TLOASG is the biggest in numbers for Taylor ever. This an album that has touched the masses. Many Swifties wanna stay in a "selected" group of intrinsic lyrics and do not leave room for the "simple human beings". Taylor's albums are art who can dictate what an art should be. TFOO has jot stopped playing in Brazil 🇧🇷 as yet.

The criticism for TTPD when it came out was that it had no summer bangers, she needed to stop working with Jack Antonoff and it was too long of an album. She did listen and gave us what what we supposedly asked for and people were still not happy. She cannot win, so let her do her thing. No one is making you buy her albums

I loved TLOAS right off the bat and genuinely felt like there was a psyop going on that critics and social media creators poo poo’d it. And that’s not because I always rubber stamp her work (for ex: I’m only lukewarm on Debut and Lover). I thought it was an objectively great pop album.
