I am so with you. That is why I am in the phase of let it air dry overnight and straighten just enough of it so it looks normal. One day I’ll be able to do my curly routine again when I don’t have babies

I use the laifen hair dryer with the diffuser (I do do high 🫣) and there’s a setting if you hold it down that it automatically changed the sitting every like 15-30 seconds of hot warm cold hot warm cold. And my hairs is about you length a little longer and takes about 15 mins to get 95% dry

I style and diffuse mine on medium like normal. It looks great and then i sleep in a bonnet and in the morning it looks like trash [Tears of joy] Today I didn’t want to deal with it so i put it up in a banana clip with some pieces framing my face. This may be my new lazy hair style. I dont have time to rewet and dry at 3am when I get up for work. A girls tired and operating in zombie mode.

save your curls! As a fellow curly girl....I put a small watered down amount of curl cream into my wet hair... squeeze out extra water from my hair and put it up in a hair towel and literally sleep with the hair towel on.... surprisingly most times the towel stays put and my hair is still ever so slightly damp by morning, take the towel off, fluff and air dry #perfection

I have super similar curl pattern and no time in the day. I do night shower, leave in conditioner, curl cream and then I diffuse on high heat and high air flow. Dries pretty quick. Is it perfect….no! Then I go to sleep without a care and wake up, rewet with a squirt bottle, add mousse and it pumps right back up!

Ooo I can help here!!! Shower, detangling spray (I personally LIVE for joicos blonde detangler), curl cream( I love cake curl cream it’s a pink bottle and generally cheap on Amazon), brush all the knots out while it’s reallll wet still, mousse for hold and to create the cast (I also use the curl mousse from cake), I grab it like I’m gonna twist it in a claw clip but I just gather it in kind of a birds nest mess and use a round claw clip (game changer) to perch it on the top of my head. Have to wet the wispies in the morning but most of the hair in the top knot is still wet in the morning so take it down and scrunch a little and it dries amazingly. 10/10 best way I’ve found to do my hair and so simple.

I put leave in conditioner on it and braid it. When I wake up it’s still usually a little wet so I spray with water to rehydrate the curls and put air dry cream on it.
