The intrusive thoughts are so crazy! The knife one has occurred to me many times and the stairs 😂 another major one for me was fearing bridges would collapse while I was driving over or under them 😅 or that my car would somehow go off the road so I wouldn’t drive in the lane by the grass 😵‍💫

Yes sometimes sitting with the thought helps us logically outthink our anxieties. Chronically cutting off the thought I’ve found can make it worse “what you resist persists” is so true!

My therapist also gave me this advice! She also told me stop saying “if” for something’s and say “when” so I have a plan. Like what will I do when my toddler screams at a restaurant.

What’s been really helpful for me is to acknowledge that it’s JUST a thought. It’s not real, it’s not reality. I also loved calling for the guards lol

Have you told us your skincare and makeup routine? I’m 2 weeks postpartum and need to feel good again. Your skin is beautiful.
