I love when customers tell me they are friends with the owner. My bosses are hilarious since they have a sarcastic type of humor. Someone told me this and i called the owner just for him to say, "I don't know that person, call the police I believe i have a stalker" in the most monotone voice. Funny thing is, a few years back I tried running a little online store and would do some market events. I made soaps, wax melts and earrings. Last event I did, someone was PISSED I charge $6 for a bar of soap and $25 for a full size set of dice earrings, $15 for miniature dice earrings. They started SCREAMING they “knew the owner” and that they “ALWAYS get the soaps for $2 and earrings of either size for $5 in their store!” I was like “so…what’s the owners name then?” “Idk Sarah or something stupid like that..” “oh, you mean STEPHANIE?! Because that’s me. And I DO NOT have a store front and I DONT KNOW YOU! So now if you want any of my products, it’ll be $25 per soap of any kind, $40 per wax melts and $80 per earring set. Simply because I must charge extra for your awful attitude. Pay up or leave my booth immediately.” Her husband dragged her off and threw a $50 on my table because I, and I quote “had to put up with her shitty self.” I hope he finally got away from her!
