For anyone who doesn't get it, (a+b)² is a shortened version with the full form being a²+2ab+b². Under the joke it says "Mom is angry" and when your mom Is angry, she will call you by your full name, hence why (a+b) ² (kid) is called by the mom as " a²+2ab+b² ". You're welcome :)
