@corrieehammond: i’ve always loved utilizing an extended pomodoro technique, but combining it with actual deep work has been a game changer the last couple years and even more so now. phone away, distractions gone, one task at a time, 50 minute focus blocks with intentional breaks in between (food, restroom, text reply). in 3 hours this morning i finished things that have been sitting on my checklist for DAYS: inventory, vendor emails, branding, buildout decisions, systems + all the random little things that come with opening a business from scratch. turns out opening a bridal shop requires approximately 400 tabs open in your brain at all times, so learning how to actually focus IS just as important as learning how to run the business. building vincent elizabeth bridal one pomodoro at a time 🤝 #deepwork #pomodorotechnique #productivitytips #smallbusinessowner #openingabusiness
