People project their own internal obligations society programmed into their subconscious that being alone means “lonely”. Society wants hyper socially dependent people because autonomous socially independent people are much harder to manipulate and triangulate into obedience. I myself am celibate and I have never felt better. I was at my loneliest when I was with my ex and surrounded by toxic friends all the time. Lonely and being alone is not the same and never has been.
