You are correct so far but there is far more to it. The right doesn't really understand what they're afraid of but sharia law does have some horrifying things to it. It involes subjugation of other faiths and them paying the Jizah. Mandatory prayer, women do not have equality in marriage, divorce, or accusing a man of a crime. Sharia law is islamic culture forced into law as a system of government, not how an individual choses to live.
