Helen is around 5 years old and blind. She is also experiencing neurological symptoms, including unusual eye movements, and is receiving extensive veterinary care and neurology consultations. Her initial testing and potential MRI could cost approximately $1,600–$7,200+. But right now, Helen needs more than medical care. She needs a quiet, calm, patient foster home where she can decompress and feel safe. Being blind in a busy shelter environment can be incredibly overwhelming.
