Security, cameras, and alarm system for every door and window. Window film that lets you see out but doesn’t let people see in. Self defense tools. And of course fire safety tools. Living alone as a woman is not a joke.

get a costco membership. buy laundry detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, dawn powerwash, bleach etc, it will last you nearly or over a year. and buy any frozen food from there too! it’s 11/10

Not a specific thing: but PLEASE start collecting things between now and when you move if you can. It makes it so much easier than 1. Spending a bunch of money at move in or 2. Not having anything when you move in

Literally every kitchen “tool”, spoons plastic and wooden, rubber spatula, meat grinder thing, tongs, if you think you won’t need it it’s what you’ll end up needing most
