@ellies_place_: I’ve just discovered one of the best-kept secrets near the Cotswolds. This is Watersedge, a natural lake where you can wild swim, but there’s so much more to it than that. They have a yoga studio, saunas, hot tubs, an ice room, infrared saunas and a cold plunge, so it’s the perfect activity whether you visit in summer or winter. I went for an outdoor sunset yoga session followed by an evening swim, which I was slightly nervous about given we’re heading into winter. But their community couldn’t have been more welcoming. They told me they’ve even swum here when they’ve had to break through the ice, which made me feel pretty pathetic complaining about 18-degree water! They also serve food on site, and we had the salt beef bagels, which were so good, while warming up around this roaring firepit. Whether you’re into wild swimming, wellness, yoga or just fancy trying something a little different, I’d definitely add this hidden find to your list.
