@lawandcrime: Dr. Tomasz Kosowski was found guilty by a judge of murdering missing attorney Steven Cozzi, despite Cozzi’s body never being recovered. Kosowski represented himself throughout the trial and waived his right to a jury, leaving the decision up to Judge Joseph Bulone. After closing arguments, the judge reached his verdict in just 15 minutes. He seemed like a smart guy but waiving jury trial was stupid. Even if he represented himself I bet a jury would either come out not guilty or hung. I think it’s very hard for a jury to convict someone on a death penalty case without a body
