@ui.ux_daily: Great product design isn't only about the main user flow. It's also about what happens in the moments between actions. A user reaches an empty state. A request takes longer than expected. An action fails. A task is completed. These moments may be small, but they shape how users understand and trust a product. 4 details I always consider as a product designer: 1. Empty states → Create direction Don't just say "No data." Explain why the state is empty and give users a clear next step. 2. Error states → Enable recovery An error should communicate what happened and, whenever possible, how the user can recover. 3. Loading states → Reduce uncertainty A thoughtful loading experience tells users that the system is working instead of leaving them wondering if something is broken. 4. Micro-interactions → Confirm actions Small transitions, feedback, and success states help users understand that the system recognized their action. The senior product design lesson? Don't only design the happy path. Design the states, feedback, transitions, and recovery moments around it. Users don't experience a product as individual screens. They experience a continuous journey of acting, waiting, receiving feedback, and progressing, and that's where many of the strongest UX impressions are created. The details may be small. The feeling they create isn't. #ProductDesign #UXDesign #UserExperience #UIDesign #InteractionDesign #ProductDesigner#UXDesignTips #DesignThinking #DesignSystems #UXWriting #MicroInteractions #DigitalProductDesign
