Guys listen its not only about tone its about how you structure your wording like example: "when is your friend going home" even if you use a calm and not annoyed tone in both situations it's still gonna sound like your asking me to leave but if you word it like "if your friend is staying let them know they can join us for dinner in the next hour" that gives the friend an option to either stay or leave. U give them options to choose stay or leave.
