My theory: Lysander's parents were part of the revolutionary part of the society. They were talking with Ares when he was Fitchner and Octavia discover them but not the Sons of Ares. She takes his parents memories for make him a puppet perfect for her control. I believe his mind, by mastering mind eye, will be able to destroy that "erased memories" (I believed they are not erased, just blocked or hide very deeply) and discover that he is just a puppet from her grandma and her parents would be very disappointed. That destroys his mind making him uncontrollable making the union of the remaining of the society and the remaining of the republic to battle him. Then he dies by Pax hand after Lysander kills Darrow or put him in a posibbly death situation. In the end Pax will be the breach to joint republic and society making a better world from both parts with no wars do to the memories of the ones they have suffer.
