I completely agree with this. I'm not sure why this isn't talked about more! It's not a cool thing to complain about your partner it just makes you look a bit silly. When we're around our friends who are happy in their relationships it's EVERYTHING.

It’s such a weird take to complain about your partner in front of friends .. together! It’s also okay to talk to your close friends about things as well without it being complaining.

I agree. I also would go further and say in my 40s I also consider who my friends are dating. If they choose an abusive gaslighter, sorry but I’m not letting that negative energy bleed into my life.
