I’ve probably made half a million cold calls throughout my career. The biggest lessons I’ve learned are to know your product inside and out, make the conversation about them and the results they want, and learn how to lower defenses before they go up. Don’t fight objections. Position them as reasonable concerns they should have. And don’t be afraid to get a few “no’s” along the way. It helps people feel comfortable, in control, and like they’re having a conversation instead of being sold. Lastly be confident in your voice. Like a late night DJ voice.
