@abimorris61: I apologise to my children when I get things wrong. ❤️ Not because I’m weak. But because I want them to know that being an adult doesn’t mean you’re always right. Sometimes I lose my patience. Sometimes I get it wrong. Sometimes I say something I wish I could take back. And when I do, I say “I’m sorry.” Because I want my children to grow up knowing that accountability matters. That you can make a mistake and still be a good person. That saying sorry doesn’t make you smaller it makes you human. We’re not raising children who should be afraid of their parents. We’re raising children who should feel safe enough to tell us when we’ve hurt them. 🤍 If you’re a parent who apologises too, you’re not failing. You’re teaching. Save this for the days parenting feels hard. Share it with a parent who needs to hear it. 🫶 #Parenting #GentleParenting #ConsciousParenting #ParentingTruth #mumlife

This is spot on. I have apologised to my children ever since they were babies if I’ve lost my temper etc and I take blame when I’m in the wrong. I had two parents who never apologised or if they did, they would twist it and still blame me somehow. so I’m undoing that and showing my children by example
