The Salt Lake Triboner :

So much wrong with this order it’s actually insane and I normally give people a lot of leeway, but secret history that early and warbreaker not between some of the stormlight ruins so much

Hudverse :

I know the cosmere is the focus, but why no one talk about the reckoners saga, it's amazing

HustinD :

Warbreaker before stormlight is a must must

r.rohloff :

when do I read the Skyward Series?

Manny Melendez :

Warbreaker before words of radiance

Nate :

This is very wrong

Richard G Abrahams :

I was literally getting ready to ask this exact question! I've never read any Brandon Sanderson and was wondering where to start, and I guess the answer is the Mistborn trilogy.

Mike Fleming1299 :

Anyone else just start with the way of kings?

Gonglez_leFonglez :

id actually recommend starting with Tress because its a single book. This way if after reading it, you decide its not for you, then no need to feel obligation to finish a series. Its also incredibly funny and fun to read. also, reading Mistborn Secret History before reading up to The Bands of Mourning in Era 2 is wrong. Probably more wrong than anything else on this list.

LAHIRU :

Just started the way of kings, never had an idea that i had to read mistborn before that. Shall i stop it or keep reading?

Zach ✌🏼 :

I heard all his stuff feels YA which is why I haven’t started it. I feel like there are zero stakes in YA stuff.

GHam_Playz :

Sunlit Man is definitely a post Wind and Truth read

Saint Thadius :

Bro, that's like ... $1,000 dollars of books

Nw :

That’s like 30 years of reading

River 🏳️‍⚧️ :

With how strongly it shows up, Warbreaker is almost Stormlight 0.5

Buma :

definitely do not read mistborn: secret history until after Bands of Mourning

Davis Pyle :

Worst read order I’ve seen be seriously recommended

Argo_1972 :

Nah man... You gotta read Warbreaker before Stormlight. Vasher, Vivenna, and Nightblood all show up in Stormlight Archives

Oliver :

no arcanum unbounded anywhere, elantris, warbreaker in wrong place.. not very ultimate 😂

crystal_kathryn 🇺🇸🇨🇦 :

i plunged directly into the way of kings after mistborn era 1 🤣🤣 and i have zero regrets.

Joshe :

I read mistborn tfe and woa, then realized I was already in love with the cosmere, so I went back to elantris and now I'm going in publish order

Winterhalo :

King Coyote :

I’d read Warbreaker before Wind and Truth for sure. There are plot points that matter

bobbyluwho :

Sorry this is wrong. warbreaker should come before words of radiance.

:) :

There is no “only right way” to read the cosemere, but there certainly are “wrong ways” - this might be one of the worst I’ve seen 😅🤣 you’ve unsatisfying spoiled half of it and then you’ve required re reading massive sections to understand them fully.
