I don't have the pic anymore but a vet friend showed me the x-ray of a dog who was stuck in the house with their human after said human passed suddenly. You could see the finger bones in the poor dog's digestive tract. My friend assured me that the dog was adopted and was very happy after the blockage was cleared

I didn’t get a pic but some guy came in with his dog for eye issues (dog looked and smelled decrepit but it was barely a year old) and the eye had maggots in it he argued and threatened staff after an estimate for an enucleation was shown and left

Had a rabbit the other day with a mass on its foot that was like… strait goop. It looked like a giant period clot hanging off its leg 😭

certainly not the grossest thing but probably the most wild thing I’ve seen in a while. Impaled by a metal table, rushed into emergency surgery before we were even officially open and the dog is now home and doing well in recovery.

So, I'm not a vet, and I don't know if this counts but this was an ex-ray of my cat's face. He passed of cancer last month, and before anyone says anything, he went in a month prior and he was completely fine. It developed and ate that much in less than a month

my friend works at a vet I'm a writer with a habit of using really weird and violent things (not a horror writer, just autistic) she showed me xrays from a cat thats veins were calcifying, so obviously i had to make a zombie apacolypse about it
