I work in a customer facing job (not retail) and the amount of old people that just tell me to my face that I’m fat, that I wear too much makeup, my nails are too long, my lashes are too big, I’m “too young for this job” (I’m 33 and I’ve been doing my current job for four years), and do I “actually know what to do?” No Gladys, they just took me off the street and let me start serving people.

My daughter was recently admitted to hospital. She's 18 and was really poorly and obviously had to go on an adult ward. The amount of old people trying to push in when the doctors/nurses were with her was incredible. Not with "I'm in pain." No it was "I didn't like my dinner!"
