KISE :
Observations of a pigeon | 12" x 16" acrylic on canvas. I was so excited to make this painting even though painting animals make me nervous, I feel like I never know where their fur or feathers end or begin and I struggle so much to create a form of them. The difficult things about this painting was how much visual noise it has, I struggled a lot with balancing all the different colors and textures, so many shades of gray, I also, struggled a lot with the background I wasn't sure what to do with it. I just kept telling myself to keep going and to see it through to the end. My first time too painting pigeons so Here's to doing something new.

Starting with the shade of blue so you can get that final result is so smart. I feel like I struggle with foundational layers through my process, any tips?
