Paleontology was my focus for my whole life. I was even recognized by the US government at 14. I was offered a spot at a national science academy. My parents didn't send me. They didn't want to spend 1000 bucks to send me. And they didn't want to pay for college either. So here I am. Almost 30, with so much knowledge and experience, and now I'm a bum failure with 0 aspirations- because my dreams were stomped out before I even got the chance. I always wonder....who was I meant to be?

I never had a dream or passion, I grew up never knowing what I wanted to be and they said you have all the time in the world to figure it out but im 18 now, graduated and still have no idea what im going to do with my life.

its never too late! im turning 24. and im going back to becoming a fire fighter. its hard but I want it. I've had many jobs. even went to college for welding and im now a light industrial mekanic. I find no joy in it. but I always kept thinking of a firefighter. if you think of it enough you want it bad enough!
