I wear a bonnet to bed and make sure to wash my hands well. It's been 2 years of daily topic minox use. my 6 year old cat is alive, happy, and never had an issue.

I use the foam. I only use at night. My dog doesn’t sleep in my room but I still change my pillow case every morning and wear a hat when minoxidil is still in my hair. I don’t put my head near animals unless I have clean, washed hair.

I have two dogs and use foam minoxidil. All you gotta do is make sure you’re not putting it on by them, keep it up and away from them, and be sure to do early so you’re not putting it on your pillow and wash your hands really well.

People over exaggerate that so much. I have three dogs. I usually take minoxidils pills but there was a time I was also using the topical one on my hair. I just put it on after saying good night to them and then removed it the next morning at shower, my dogs don’t sleep with me, they don’t sniff or lick the top of my head, even if I saw them after applying it, I would be usually wearing a bonnet or just wash my hands. It’s not that hard tbh

i use the topical one and i have a dog. she never sleeps by my head, she never licks my hands especially after i apply it, i always wash my hands after applying, i change my pillowcase every 4 days, i never leave my pillow on the bed, i make sure it never spills on the floor or is anywhere she could access it, i vacuum a lot more and i also clean her usual areas 2x as much now. should i still switch to oral?

Or carry on with the topical M but wear gloves when applying, apply in a bathroom where the pet is never allowed, wash your hands thoroughly after anyway, and wear a silk bonnet after you apply and to bed so no residue on your bedding🙄
