Watch me walk you through how I cut this butterfly 90s inspired bombshell layered haircut. For this client she has a little bit of finer hair, so I tend to utilize a lot of over direction when doing a layered haircut to ensure that I keep a decent amount of density at the bottom of her hair. Nothing is worse than getting a haircut and all your length is gone because you have a finer density. As you can see with the end results, she has these soft flippy layers, but you can still see a little bit of a weight line at the bottom.. Watch this tutorial through to see all of the tips and tricks I do when cutting a butterfly haircut. I also use the @amika ⁠hydro rush leave in. This gave the hair a little bit of slip! Now my shears and comb glide through the hair without a problem. Finished off the blowout with the amika rising star for that perfect after video and photo. This product gives the hair a ton of volume and body.
