People do not truly grasp how detrimental it is to live everyday of your life having C-PTSD/PTSD, nor do we receive empathy/grace from people when we get triggered, or simply because we react differently because our brains are damaged

I got PTSD from a house fire. It was 2-4 AM Monday 2022, 14th of February. I was 8, and the only one awake. I saw it from my window. I alerted my family and we got out of the house a minute before the fire broke my window and my bed caught on fire. Years later I am now addicted to lighting fires and keeping them going. PTSD does not only make you afraid. PTSD takes many forms. Even with therapy I am still not fully healed to this day. It is not a joke. It is not “oh I have ptsd from a wrong coffee order!” It is traumatic. It affects your brain. It is not aesthetic or quirky. It is not fun. It is not.. “omg, cute, neurodivergent!” It is HELL ON EARTH.
