On my plane back to Australia from America this poor couple's bub was having an awful time, and a looooong flight. They were so stressed so I asked if I could cuddle bub for a while. I walked bub up and down the aisle while they took turns having some food and some sleep. It takes a village but that village doesn't have to be someone you know sometimes ❤️

as a tip (no idea if you knew this already or not but) sometimes they cry because their ears hurt from the pressure and they can't really pop their ears so making them drink during takeoff and landing can help with that

I always feel so bad for the babies on the airplanes. True story one time the flight attendant came up to me and told me to make my baby. Be quiet and stop crying because people in the back complained. I just asked her if she was kidding and she said no.

I did a 9hr flight with a 1yo, and he would not settle, and when I finally did get him asleep for some ungodly reason the flight attendant decided to touch him and loudly pronounce how cute he was, which woke him… I spent 6hrs walking and bouncing and crying in the galley… he fell asleep.. HARD.. 30mins before we landed.. awesome… saying that though.. my connection I had a beautiful older gentleman that was so helpful with him and understanding, who said to me, there is no one on this plane with children that have flown with them and had a bad flight, we were all this age once and uncomfortable. He helped me get my stuff off the plane, and get me to my bags, he also entertained my son and bounced him in his knee to let me eat, he was an angel I’ll never forget him (me and my husband had just separated so I was trying to keep it altogether to come home)
