@sunnyywuu: Episode 2 | what talking to an 8 figure hedge fund manager taught me One of the most interesting parts of documenting this journey publicly is getting to learn from people who have already built what I’m trying to understand. My biggest takeaway from this conversation: performance matters, but managing outside capital requires much more than finding good trades. Operational discipline, strict risk parameters & capital preservation matter just as much when you’re trying to build something that can eventually scale. I’m still very early in figuring out whether building a fund is ultimately the right path for me, so I’m documenting what I learn along the way.
