I’ve been teaching AI Fluency courses where students use a range of AI tools, linking them together to solve problems, choose their own projects, and develop their own software. In some cases, companies have approached students about purchasing or licensing the products and ideas they created. This is happening at my “traditional university”.

No, I definitely don’t think traditional education will be replaced. I’ve seen firms try to do this every couple of years. Look at Google university for example. Also, prestigious universities act as a filter sometimes and the workload required to keep up acts as a good indicator whether someone can handle complex or intense work

Love seeing new products and higher education. BUT this is not a game changer. At least not yet. They do not have accreditation. And they do not offer financial aid funding for students. There’s way more forward, thinking universities out there that are offering accredited degrees either for free or for less than $2000. Without an accreditation, the credits are not accepted by any other institution and if they try to go into any licensing field, it won’t be accepted. Great in concept, and may one day be a game changer, just not yet.
