You know what I just realized; as I watched this again.. sometimes family isn’t only blood and sometimes blood can be wrong. A time comes in a persons life when one has to choose between what’s right and wrong when it has to do with blood relatives and if you’re not disciplined and strong you’d choose family.. (even though they may be so wrong) Jonathan had a godly friendship with David.. the Bible said Jonathan loved David.. so choosing between David and his father must’ve been the most painful decision ever and also letting him escape knowing that he can never have a normal conversation or anything to do with him again because his own father Saul had declared him a wanted person and sought after him to kill.. it just shows to say that sometimes what’s right isn’t always the best thing to do and what’s wrong might be the easiest and smoothest thing to make. Nd then again Jonathan’s death was heartbreaking.. but the truth is that he died following Saul into a battle.. the lord has already left and forsaken Saul.. what he had was the company of demons now tormenting him. So the grace of the lord had long departed from Him.. so sometimes what’s right to do is the hardest choice to make who knows if Jonathan didn’t follow Saul to battle he would’ve been alive but then agu Jonathan would’ve posed a threat to David all in all God is good
