As someone who is disabled- It’s ok to focus on your own broken leg and healing ❤️🩹 Do I have it “worse”? Yeah maybe but I can still greatly empathize with you. And you deserve empathy and compassion!!!!! It’s a big learning curve at first to figure out how to do basic daily tasks but one thing at a time you’ll start figuring things out 🫶

This is really kind of you and it's clear you're doing it with the best intentions. I'm mainly housebound and live alone, but this has been my life for 10yrs now so I've adapted to it in a way. Don't berate yourself for struggling, it's a huge thing to go from an active ambitious life to having a disability, whether it's a temporary thing or not 🤍

Sending so much love. Disability is the one marginalised group none of us are truly exempt from, losing access to your body in any way is beyond suffocating and isolating, so often disability is a silent battle, or is said to have a “look,” so you posting such a vulnerable and caring video to spread awareness does more than you even know. Give yourself so much grace as you traverse this, situations like these really force us to sit with ourselves in such a drastic way that feels unnatural, and there’s simply no way to mentally prepare for that, no one should expect you to be able to manage it on your own. Thank you for all you are, thinking of you in this difficult time and it’s so evident where your heart is at in this all, there is nothing performative about having a human moment, I cannot even begin to imagine the stress you are under 🩶
