This "christians" view of charity is why the government stepped in with social programs. The churches would only give to those they deemed as worthy. Unmarried mother? Starve. Man down on his luck? Starve. Drink? Starve. Not Christian? Starve.

Why is SLITHER not mad at corporations who purposely pay so little/give so few hours knowing the employees will qualify for government assistance programs⁉️Not to mention those same companies receive subsidies from that government but that is ok socialism‼️

As a Danish atheist, I fucking DESPISE charity work! Why? Whoever sits on the pot of gold, is the one deciding who is "worthy" of help! That makes them Lord-Emperor over the needing people, and that is just plain ugly!!
