This year in particular has been so painful because I lost a whole version of myself. I don’t really know who I am anymore right now and I’m still trying to figure that out. I look at pictures of myself from only 2 years ago and it feels like looking at a whole separate person. I just want to feel like me again.

Losing my Dad 37 days ago, after his battle with cancer, after being his care taker, I’m truly heartbroken, I lost a spark inside of me that I really don’t care to get back. But I’m trying, I’m trying for my husband, my mother and my Son. I’m ready for some normalcy it’s been a long trying year, I know it’s going to be a long road to heal for how heavy my heart feels. I miss him every second of everyday, and I can’t believe it’s only been 37 day’s💔

I became someone new and fell in love and then lost that love. I had to experience acceptance of something that I had zero control over and learned that letting someone in so closely and having hope that it would turn out exactly how I’d hoped was a risk no matter the outcome. Healing is still living 🥺
