@tradex_labs: Everyone claims ORB is one of the best strategies for prop firms, so we decided to actually code, automate, and stress test it. We built multiple variations: high-win-rate scalpers, higher R intraday models, and mean-reverting ORB reversals designed for different market regimes. And we didn’t stop at a backtest. Each model went through OOS testing, walk-forward validation, parameter sensitivity/stability testing, variance testing, and Monte Carlo simulations. The biggest weakness we found wasn’t overfitting, it was regime dependency. That’s exactly why we built multiple variations designed to diversify different ORB regimes instead of relying on one model.
