I can’t build a business that requires me to leave the house, be available at set hours, or sit down for long uninterrupted work blocks. My work has to fit into the cracks of my day around school, naps, meals, appointments, and everything else that comes with raising kids. So the opportunities that make the most sense for me are the ones that can be created in small pockets of time and continue earning after the work is done. That looks like: * Digital products and ebooks — create them once and sell them over and over * Evergreen courses — record or build them once and let people purchase anytime * KDP books — build a catalog that can keep generating royalties * Affiliate marketing — earn commissions by recommending products or tools I already use * PLR and templates — create resources other people can buy and use in their own businesses * Stock photos and licensing — upload content once and get paid when it’s licensed * Print-on-demand — create designs without packing or shipping inventory myself * Memberships or subscriptions — create recurring monthly income instead of starting from zero every month The biggest thing I’m realizing is that I don’t need another job. I need to build assets. Things I can create once, improve over time, automate, and sell repeatedly. Because my goal isn’t just to make money from home. It’s to build income that can keep working even when I’m making lunch, doing school pickup, putting kids down for naps, or just being their mom.
