I really enjoy painting, but I am a sensitive person who needs to find purpose in what I do. Also, I’ve always been interested in philosophy and helping others so I’m studying psychology instead of engineering or economics, although I also want to keep painting on the side 🫠

I think you put it so eloquently. It’s not about one field being better than another, it’s that in this society, this economy, it’s about making decisions that have the big picture in mind. It is unfortunate but it’s the reality, and I’m glad you came online to explain it so cohesively.

how to find my passion? I've been full of this when i was younger but i got frightened by life and had to change major to get a job and get independent.. yet i feel very unfulfilled

I so wish I would have studied psychology so I could work as a therapist, I think that is one of few jobs that would suit me, feel meaningful and not burn me out and give me enough energy to pursue my hobbies on the side. but unfortunately I've already studied teaching for 5 years and can't afford 5 more years of uni 🫠

I start geology at uni and its something that does interest me but also I’d love to write and report and for a long time I thought about journalism and I don’t know how i could tie those two 😭

Ich habe vor Lehrerin zu werden, vor allem spezialisiert auf Mädchen und Frauen (vielleicht auch noch andere Sachen), um denn z.B über Anatomie usw. Beizubringen und ich bin selber Künstlerin, ich würde glaube ich auch Kunstkennerin sein. Was ist so deine Meinung oder deine Empfehlungen?
