I super appreciate your striper knowledge, nice to know that while Pacific stripers also go both ways, saltwater and freshwater, they have different stripes than us in the Atlantic posse see. Also, your thoughts about finding out what’s in the water is the, um, deep truth of fishing!

Actually, not a hybrid. Our west coast stripers often have broken lines due to genetic bottlenecking. About 400 fish were brought over from the east coast in the late 1800’s. So they’re a little inbred 🤷‍♂️
