Not true. I put myself through Columbia law school with student loans. I took the lsat after self-studying with a test prep book. I’ve now paid off my loans.

Definitely don’t have to be wealthy. I come from a very low income background. I spent 0 dollars on LSAT prep (only used free materials) and got into 10 schools and received scholarships from all of them. Just graduated in May from a T-50 Law school and I am now an associate in BigLaw. With that said, your point about the loan cap is 100% valid. Either schools need to lower their COA/give more scholarship money or the loan caps need to be adjusted

If you’re low income, you can prove proof of income to waive your lsat test and dig around Reddit for free lsat tests, and apply and get a full ride. I think what you’re saying isn’t wrong but don’t be discouraged!

I worked throughout law school and you also have to take into account the curve. It’s hard competing against people who only have to worry about studying while you have to work for a set amount of A’s and B’s

It’s not that hard you guys are just trying to go to Harvard💀 especially if you live with your parents and they don’t have you paying bills. You can do it because I do it with a part-time job working two days. you literally gotta want it. Don’t let the fear of being broke Stop you from chasing your dreams bc whole time it’s not even that serious

You have to get undergraduate degree in something like accounting or finance. It can be done but you need to be able to financially support yourself if you are not wealthy.
