not really… some of them are genuinely mad. It goes both ways. Asking me to bring my wig a week in advance to pluck the wig in my face while i’m sat in your chair… I won’t be booking again & I WILL tell people not to book. I’ve had experiences but they are just lucky that i don’t come onto the internet to chat. Coming late and not deducting the late fee, but when it’s the client they’re quick to add all these extra fees. What’s with the extra bank transfer fees too? transferring money from one high street bank to another doesn’t even require that. When they inconvenience you, they don’t give af!! LET it be the other way around. I think people have every right to make videos bc some of these people are repeated offenders ngl. It’s not by force either to be “fully booked” if you can’t handle all them clients in a month that is okay, they are human like you said.

it defo depends seen someone charge £5 for bank transfer and a girl did ‘5 days in advance as a £20 fee bc its an emergency appointment.

Having policies is fine the issue starts when the hairstylist doesn’t even hold themselves to the same standard they hold their clients. And as you rightfully said some policies are just ridiculous

depends. some hairstylist don’t even follow their own policy. they will charge for reschedule but won’t deduct when they reschedule YOU, and on top of that if it’s same day they will still charge late fees and “inconvenience fees”. it’s so weird

I wanted to get my nails done and saw a policy that said if I book with her I’m agreeing to get my hands/toes even face filmed for content . I didn’t want that, there should be an option if the client doesn’t want to be filmed

for everyone that says this depends you’re totally right, but i’m talking about the hairstylists that still provide the normal service for their clients. if your hairstylist doesnt play by the book and is biased when it comes to their policies that is definitely wrong. hairstylists should follow their policies too 100%. if they are at wrong they should provide some sort of compensation for their client, because this is a TRADE

Icl I never once read someone’s policy through before a hair appointment and never once had an issue because I’m on time and have common sense😌 (from an ex nail tech)
