Hmmm... I need to know the specific things men are doing to be the leader in their relationships even aside from the emotional? Planning events? Coordinating schedules? Identifying issues? Making decisions about where the money goes? Making motivational speeches? Or is it more like yelling, making themselves look big and scary when a child doesn't do the dishes? Oh if course it's mowing the lawn, or driving the car to get an oil change. Maybe they even fill the gas tank. But what are the leadership qualities they're using even in the office? Deciding which contractor to use? Perhaps they're explaining a new streamlined process that enhances efficiency and productivity? OR, they are really just validating one another for little to nothing after a wonan had already said the same things repeatedly, in many different scenarios with many different ways of delivery and that was 5 years ago!
