Toyota of thousand oaks didn't include the cost of their door ding protection thing. it was an extra $950 for them to put soft things on the door edges to not ding other cars or something, and we'd declined it, but we're told it was already on the car and not removable... but you're charging me extra and I don't want it and it wasn't in the initial quote??

I have one, It was in Maryland. there was a car that I was really considering buying and the price was $28,000 online, I called and confirmed that they had that car for that price. I drive almost an hour to the dealership and the sticker said $35,000. The car salesman was so naive and why I was so frustrated, I ended up leaving. buying a car is such a scam, It always will be.

You realize that if they don’t classify as add ons, they won’t get dinged. That law is easily worked around. I have “protection packages” at my store. It’s a dealer trick to drop the online pricing to be the lowest one so they come first
