@ahlassunnah.defence: A short note I forgot to include in the video: If someone accepts that the Prophet ﷺ taught this form of tawassul while he was alive, but argues that the same wording becomes širk simply because he passed away, then an important question remains: Where did the Prophet ﷺ warn his Ummah that this practice would become širk after his death? A ruling as serious as širk requires evidence. It cannot simply be assumed that something the Prophet ﷺ taught would later turn into širk without a clear prohibition or warning.
