@cbsmiami: Signs of the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto VI are appearing across Miami, including a massive “Welcome to Vice City” message installed on the roof of the Kaseya Center. Crews were seen Tuesday installing the pink letters, which reference the fictional city featured in the upcoming Rockstar Games title. The display will be visible to travelers flying into Miami International Airport, with more GTA VI advertising expected across South Florida ahead of the game’s scheduled Nov. 19 release. Miami commissioners previously approved permits allowing private entities to display larger-than-usual promotional banners, with revenue helping fund a trail in Overtown. GTA VI is set in the fictional state of Leonida and returns to Vice City, which is heavily inspired by Miami and South Florida.
