Mom of three grown sons! I’m very lucky because I’m still included in their life, get to enjoy my grandbabies. We have a camper as well as my ex husband and his fiancé so we both pull the campers to the same campground and the grandkids get to spend the weekends with all of us.

Amen to that My Son’s in Albuquerque, New Mexico and I hear from him occasionally and I lost my daughter back in April 2007. She was 26 in a car accident and I’m disabled all alone and I could use my kids but I hardly ever hear from my kid.

I love my daughter in laws!! They are great. But one of my sons only calls when he needs something. And even though we laugh and cut up when we are together, he also talks to me like I’m trash if I don’t agree with him or god forbid tries to encourage him to not give up on his dreams. I can’t tell you the last time my older two kids just called to say they love me or to see how I’m doing without a prompt from someone else.

I'm thankful it happened that way, it means I raised them right. When my sons got married, I didn't lose anything. I gained beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful daughters. My sons better always put their wives first. Momma will happily stand aside for my girls.
