Went to Toyota Dealership to buy one, quoted me $70, I said I’ll buy it online. Walked outside, went to their website, was on clearance off their online price, 30% off, bought it for $40, walked back inside and picked it up 😂 But Subaru sells the same thing (made by ZEP) for less then $20!!! That’s my tip for you all 👍

to prevent it, care car nut channel says that you should disable ac 2 min before getting home and setting the blower to max speed. toyota doesn't have a fancy way to do it when the car powers off so the moisture stays in the coils and makes mold.

Gotta get the drain tube relocation going 5/8” heater hose and a band clamp.

Wear safety glasses with that cleaner. You don’t want any of that stuff splashing in your eyes when you take it off from the tube.

Rust is not a huge issue in CA. However, to keep the AC drain tube from leaking all over your frame you can route a 3/8” fuel line underneath. Again optional in CA. Prevents destroying the frame from the inside out in rust belt areas

next time do the dwd2 evaporator cleaner kit, unfortunately those catch you used only clean out maybe half the evaporator box whereas the dwd2 actually encapsulates the complete evaporator core and cleans it spotless and then drains out of the condensation tube.
